New Manual vs. Automated Job Sync Option Available for LinkedIn

What’s new?

During enablement, Bullhorn admins can now choose whether jobs are synced to LinkedIn automatically (all eligible jobs) or published manually. If manual publishing is selected, a new LinkedIn icon will appear after clicking Publish on a job posting. Clicking this icon opens the LinkedIn publish page, where recruiters can review job details pulled from Bullhorn, customize fields as needed, and view the LinkedIn listing and promotion status in the top right corner.

The LinkedIn icon will only appear if the system is configured to allow manual publishing. Additionally, if the job has been closed in Bullhorn, a message will appear in the Publish page indicating that the job must be open before it can be published to LinkedIn.

Why does it matter?

This update is a direct response to customer feedback, offering a more efficient and targeted way to manage LinkedIn job postings. Recruiters now have full control over which jobs are published to LinkedIn, eliminating the need to manage unwanted auto-synced postings. The ability to customize job content before it appears on LinkedIn enhances control and allows for more strategic hiring efforts.

How do I enable this?

All LinkedIn Apply Connect users will gain access to this functionality in release 2025.8. Admins can select the preferred sync method, manual or automated, during the enablement process.
